Hey kids, listen up!

Some days I feel like the least popular person in the room.

My newly adult kids work hard, earn a paycheck….and immediately start dreaming about what to spend it on next.

Meanwhile, I’m over here saying, “don’t forget to invest!”

I know it’s not the most exciting conversation when you are in your 20’s. Retirement feels like a lifetime away, and compound interest isn’t nearly as fun as a weekend trip or the latest purchase.

But here’s what I wish someone told me when I was there age: The amount you invest matters…but when you start matters even more.

Time is the one thing you can never get back. Every dollar invested in your 20’s has decades to grow, That’s a gift no amount of income later in life can fully replace.

My job isn’t just to cheer them on today, It’s to help them build a life where money creates freedom tomorrow.

One day they’ll probably roll their eyes a little less and realize those conversations weren’t about saving money, they were about building choices.

And if they end up wealthier because I was a little annoying about investing early?

I’ll happily take that title. ❤️
