Resort: The Shore Club, Long Bay Beach
Elegant, peaceful and one of the most beautiful resorts I have ever visited. They don’t call it the “most instagrammable” resort for nothing. Perfect for couples celebrating a special occasion, like us, celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary!
THOUGHTS:
Stick to cooler months or early spring, summer brings sargassum to Long Bay Beach.
Cabanas are at no extra cost and readily available. .
Breakfast buffet is included.
Transportation to Grace Bay is provided every hour through the evening hours. .
On site restaurants are amazing, Especially Sui-Ren!
Nassau, Bahamas
Resort: The Cove at the Atlantis
Luxury resort with adults only pool. Perfect for families with adult children who still like fun and entertainment, but also like to get dressed up at night.
THOUGHTS:
Call or check the website for renovation schedule before booking. The main adult pool was under renovation during our stay, but the alternative pool the resort provided was beautiful, relaxing, and exceeded our exceptions.
Make dining reservations in advance. Our favorites were Fish by Jose Andres and Paranza.
Bring floats for the ocean and a waterproof camera case for pictures and video on the lazy river.
Chairs need to be reserved early
Resort provided beach bag, flip flops, and reusable water bottles.
St. Kitts and Nevis
Resort: Marriott’s St. Kitts Beach Club
Caribbean resort with spacious villa rentals and direct access to Frigate Bay Beach. This is a vacation ownership resort, with two and three bedroom villas that include separate living, dining area, full kitchen and balcony.
THOUGHTS:
During our visit Frigate Bay Beach was unavailable due to the amount of seasonal sargassum washed up on shore. Additional transportation was provided to the Caribbean side of the island where the sargassum was not present. Do not recommend visiting this resort during sargassum season.
The island has some amazing restaurants, including one of the most fabulous restaurants our family has ever visited, Orchid Bay Beach House Restaurant. Make reservations ahead and fill out the questions including personal details for a fun customized surprise.
